About me
Hi! I’m Nicolas Everhart — a Systems Engineer by profession, a curious tinkerer by nature, and a lifelong learner at heart.
I’ve spent most of my career building, maintaining, and scaling systems that bridge the gap between Linux and Windows environments, often within hybrid cloud infrastructures like Azure integrated with on-premises AD DS. I have academic foundations in Cybersecurity and Networking, but my true growth has come from hands-on experience and a deep curiosity for how things work — and how they could work better.
you’ll usually find me in my homelab, experimenting with new tools, automating deployments, or stress-testing ideas just to see what breaks. I’m passionate about scalable, practical solutions and believe that “learning by doing” is the best way forward.
Whether it’s writing a quick Python script, deploying containers with Podman, or figuring out why my cluster isn’t behaving, I enjoy the challenge. And when I’m not deep in logs or terminal windows, I’m probably gaming, hiking, or learning something new just for fun.
